2015-2016 Elective Request Process
Throughout the month of April, the 6th Grade and 7th Grade Counselors will be sending home the Elective Worksheet. Students will need to pre-select elective choices with their parents. Elective registration will take place through your student’s HomeBase Account. Students will select their courses with their counselor during Healthful Living classes, but will be able to make changes at home through April 24th. Refer to the 2015-2016 Elective Course description click here for more information about course curriculum. The option to select courses will be activated on HomeBase when Counselors meet with students.
The week of April 6th, 7th graders will be registering for electives online via HomeBase in Healthful Living classes.

The Holly Spring High School Football
The Holly Spring High School Football team is having their spring fundraiser “Mulch Madness.” Please see the attached flyer for information
The Holly Spring High School Football will host an upcoming 9th Grade Football freshman night. Any rising 9th grader that will be attending HSHS, and is interested in potentially playing football at the High School; we are holding an information session on Tuesday night May 19th at 6:30 at the High School and encourage them to attend with their parents.

Interested in becoming an EOG Proctor?
The EOG’s and North Carolina Final Exams for Science and Social Studies will be here before we know it. In order for Holly Ridge to successfully give the assessments, we need your help! PROCTORS ARE NEEDED EACH DAY OF TESTING!
***WE CAN USE YOU FOR FULL DAYS OR HALF DAYS*** In order for parents to be proctors, you must sign up and become a volunteer. Please come by Holly Ridge or any other school in the county to sign up. 8:00am to 4:00pm MONDAYS ONLY! Testing will begin the last week of May into the first week of June! Summer Day Camp
Holly Ridge Middle School is ready to start registering and enrolling campers for its Summer Day Camp! The camp is open for rising 4th through rising 8th graders. Camp runs for nine weeks, Monday through Friday, from June 15 to August 14th. Drop off is as early as 7:30 am and pick up is as late as 6 pm. There is a one time $50 registration fee per child and the weekly camp fee is $145. Campers may attend as many or as few weeks as needed. Click here for additional information.
